Mon, 26 March 2007
FOR EVERYONE:
Saturday was a great day for the
ground breaking on house #26. In addition to all the people that came
for the ceremony, eight volunteers worked on getting the footings ready
for inspection. Russell Addison and Kenny Bumgarner installed dams for
the steps while John Pelissier, Sarah Gurtler, and Wally Hanson moved a
huge pile of gravel. First time volunteer Erica Franklin learned to use
the builder's transit and shot grade for the foundation. Belinda and
Jean Camm came prepared to trim back some briars and bushes.
Thanks to everyone who participated Saturday.
FOR KENNY BUMGARNER, RUSSELL ADDISON, AND ROD LOVING:
Footings passed inspection this
afternoon. Tomorrow I will order concrete for Wednesday morning and get
an estimated time to pour from the dispatcher. Can you be there to pour
on Wednesday (28 March) morning?
FOR MIKE OGDEN:
Looks like we are finally moving.
Are you available to help pour concrete on Wednesday (28 March)?
Should take less than one hour once the truck arrives.
